NYS Cash Alliance’s Statement on the accelerated implementation of snap work requirements

Accelerating the implementation of expanded work reporting requirements for SNAP puts hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers at risk of losing vital food support. We know that these changes will impact so many New Yorkers across the state who are already struggling to keep up with the ever-rising cost of living.   As members of the NYS Cash Alliance, we will continue to advocate for equitable income supports that lift up New Yorkers most in need and promote personal agency and economic opportunity.
