NYS Cash Alliance Panel Discussion

On October 1, 2024, members of the New York State Cash Alliance gathered at The Monarch Foundation for a celebration and panel discussion in honor of The Alliance’s launch.

Maura Cuffie of Creatives Rebuild New York facilitated a panel discussion with panelists, Amal Kharoufi of YouthNPower, Peggy Robles-Alvardo of Creatives Rebuild New York, and Jennifer Ortiz of Women in Need. Each panelists spoke on the power of unrestricted cash to change lives and the need for more cash programs that honor the autonomy and unique needs of its participants. The panel discussion was followed by a light reception.
